Milwaukee Youth Theatre presents William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," which was written for the close of the Christmas season. The comedy centers on the twins, Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck off the coast of Illyria. Once rescued, Viola dresses as a man, takes the name "Cesario," and enters into the service of Orsino, the Duke of Illyria. Orsino longs for the love of a neighboring countess, Olivia. While masquerading as Cesario, Viola falls in love with Orsino and Olivia falls in love with "Cesario," thus creating a comedic love triangle. Meanwhile, Sebastian has also been rescued and arrives on the scene and Olivia mistakes Sebastian for "Cesario." The plot humorously illustrates jealousy and mistaken identity in a romp that features a second subplot, along with breath holding fighting and duels.
