The Appeal of Stocking Peels with Valerie Veils
Learn and master the 4 P's of the stocking peel in this 90 minute workshop with Valerie Veils!
Think stocking peels are only for classic burlesque? Well think again. Valerie will teach you how to incorporate fun and unique stocking peels into any genre of burlesque.
We will start out with sexy stretches for burlesque and how to appear more flexible while performing your peels. We will cover creative and unique ways to remove your shoes. Then we will master stocking peels in the sitting and standing position, and last but not least we will move to removals on the floor, in the splits, and even on your head (YES! I said on your head) don't worry you can take notes for the future!
BYO: Thigh High Stockings, Garters, Long Socks, Leg Warmers, your favorite pair of Heels. (no fishnets) Please wear something comfortable that you can sweat in. Booty shorts highly recommended.
This class is for all levels! But we will be moving through the basics quickly.
About the Instructor:
Valerie Veils is a professionally trained gymnast and gymnastics coach. She has been tantalizing burlesque crowds since 2008. She began performing with Sinner Saint Burlesque in Seattle, WA and has since performed throughout North America and Canada. She is now part of Sin Sisters Burlesque in Santa Cruz, California and Olympias Own TUSH! In Washington
Valerie has had the privilege of performing at The Burlesque Hall of Fame and was judges pick for Viva Las Vegas 2015. She has also performed at the Colorado, Texas, New Orleans, Oregon, and Vancouver Burlesque Festival. She is currently the reigning Rose Queen of the 2014 Oregon Burlesque Festival.
