Zilla (Part 1)
Zilla! is an epic three part story of disaster movies and the city spread across three different locations over a period of around a month.
Encompassing installation, storytelling and pervasive gaming, the piece is an ambitious and delirious attempt to make sense of the world we're living in and through; to understand the cities we inhabit and our relationship to them. To engage with the disasters we dream of and the disasters that are already happening.
You do not need to be able to see all three parts of Zilla! though I'd encourage you to do so if you can.
All three parts are offered by donation only.
Zilla (Part 1) is an interactive performance installation in which the disaster is first mapped out. Characters are chosen and the city unfolds in front of us. When the dust finally settles there's no telling who will be left standing.
