Meet, greet, and learn about the many facets of Melissa Clark's fascinating writing career, as this James Beard Foundation award winner muses over her experience as: The New York Times Dining Section columnist for "A Good Appetite," writer for Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Martha Stewart and the website Gilt Taste, author of 32 cookbooks (including with Daniel Boulud, Paula Deen and Claudia Fleming), as well as regular Foodography guest on the Cooking Channel. Interviewed by NYWCA Board Member Terry Frishman, Melissa will share personal stories while offering advice on food, work and juggling life as a Brooklyn mom.
Network before the interview with Melissa, fellow NYWCA members, guests and ICE students, while sipping wine donated by Costas Mouzouras of Gotham Wines & Liquors, and tasting NYWCA member-donated dishes. Melissa will also be signing her latest cookbook, Cook This Now: 120 Easy & Delectable Recipes You Just Can't Wait to Make (Hyperion, NY October 4, 2011), and others. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the NYWCA's Charitable Giving Committee.
