Scott "Wino" Weinrich's latest project, Premonition 13, sees him plugged back in-both to his amplifier and the full-band format. A musical entity that finds its genesis in jam sessions dating back two decades, when Wino first met fellow guitarist Jim Karow and their series of informal jams over the years have finally coalesced with the release of their first full length album, 13. Rounded out by Ostinato's Matthew Clark on drums, Premonition 13 ventures into territories both new and familiar for Wino. Fans of Wino's Spirit Caravan and The Hidden Hand releases take notice. WITCH MOUNTAIN is Portland's original Doom band. Featuring Rob Wrong's screaming lead guitar, and Uta Plotkin's patented "stoner metal Heart" vocal stylings. Punishing slabs of phlegmatic, groove laden grunge lying cheek to jowl with some beautifully light headed moments in the vein of classic Sabbath and especially Welsh rockers, Budgie. ARCHONS were the 1st to fly under the CAVE METAL flag that has been transcending over San Diego. Melding a blend of 80's Thrash, Doom & modern day Stoner Rock that will leave your head pounding & saying High On who? The Archons include former members of the Seattle band Sludgeplow: bassist Chad Hartgrave and drummer Scott Driscoll. Guitarist Jeff Doom formerly played with Kansas City bands the Hearers and Transdimensional Doorway.
