Cinderella 2011
San Francisco's African-American Shakespeare Company opens the 2011-12 season with an enchanting new production of CINDERELLA. This timeless tale, brought to whimsical, magical life just in time for the holidays, is an uplifting re-telling of the classic fairytale, featuring all of the pageantry, hilarity, and charm of the original, but with a soulful twist. This heartwarming story finds Cinderella, a young, beautiful dreamer, toiling away as a lowly scullery maid for her evil stepmother and stepsisters. With the help of a fabulous Fairy Godmother who makes the magic happen, Cinderella finds her Prince Charming and learns that anything is possible, even miracles. African-American Shakespeare Company Executive Director Sherri Young directs.

Q&A
Question: |
Hello,
I'd like to take a group from my church to see this play. Do you offer a group rate with advanced reserved seating? Are there any deposit requirements?
Kai Brinkley |
Answer: |
Hi Kai, We do have special group discounts. There are two options: 1) We do have a lower price seating ticket for economical purchasers that begins at the $10 - $15. This is the best price, but not necessarily the premium seats. Our group price is 20% off of the normal ticket prices (excluding the $10 - $15 pricing) for seats in the Side Aisle ($20) - Orchestra Center Front ($35). This means that for $16 - $28 your group can attend and sit in the primary seating area. Group tickets must be made directly through our office, so please feel free to give us a call at (415) 762-2071 ext. 6. We cannot reserve any group seating until we have full payment. So please feel free to give us a call and we can assist you with sending materials out to your group, family, and friends. |

Question: |
Hi Jason-
I just left a voicemail message. Do you still have group seating available for Sunday, 12/18 at 3pm. It is a group of 10 and perhaps up to 14. |
Answer: |
At this moment we still have tickets available for groups on December 18th at 3pm. However, since this is our last show, this will be a sold out house, so please do not wait to make your reservation. |
|
Question: |
DO you have student prices? |
Answer: |
There are no student prices because we have an economical $10 ticket price for all of our performances. If the student is 16 and above there are options to volunteer and see the show for free. To volunteer as an usher or ticket-taker, just give our office a call at (415) 762-2071 ext. 6. |

Hi. I am trying to get 4 tickets for the Sunday 12/11/11 3:p.m. show. I was unable to complete the purchase online. Does the box office still have tickets for sale?? |
Answer: |
The Sunday, December 11th at 3pm show is all sold-out. We only have two seats available. At this point there might be a few "no-shows" and audience members may put their name on a waiting list to see if anyone else would like to sale their ticket. |
