Comedy with Ladies of Laughter

Grit City Comedy is proud to present our Ladies of Laughter Night of Comedy. For the weekend of October 14th and 15th, you'll get to enjoy seven of the best female comics in the area. Come early, enjoy dinner, and get ready for a great show!
JENNIFER BURDETTE
Jennifer has been doing stand up for two years and has been onstage all her life. Her comedy is influenced by a country upbringing and her view is irreverent, bright and sometimes naughty. She has been seen on the Comedy Central show Super Late Funtime, Funny or Die, and local commercials. She performs all over the pacific northwest.
KRISTINA MCMILLEN
From the mean streets of Oakland.... Exitting the womb in hoop earrings, the first white girl from the east bay to graduate college, Kristina McMillen is lighting up audiences all over Seattle. She gives a fresh perspective on family and dating, making audiences relate to the awkward, fuzzy and sweet Kristina McMillen!
DANIELLE RADFORD
Danielle Radford was an honor student throughout her school days. So the fact that she didn't finish college, doesn't have a driver's license, and can't hold down a job is just as much of a surprise to her as it is for everyone else. She feels very strongly about stuff sometimes, and she loves to tell a good story. Naturally uninhibited and easily distracted, she is like some kind of crazy candy that is both sweet AND tart. We can't say the name here, but yeah. That one. Danielle has performed at Bumbershoot and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival.
ELICIA SANCHEZ
Lover of B-movies, beer and spreadable foods, Elicia Sanchez is a comedian, video store employee and a card-holding member of the Iron Maiden fan club. With an ambiguous ethnic appearance, jokes about Star Trek and a name no one can fully pronounce, she has been balancing meager paychecks between comic books and happy hour while performing stand up comedy in the Seattle area and surrounding cities since 2010. She has performed with national headliners such as Graham Elwood and Jackie Kashian and will be performing at this year's Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival. Elicia is currently a writer/member of the Seattle-based comedy sketch troupe, Children of the Atomalso and also hosts a weekly comedy podcast about bad movies entitled, The Enematic Cinematic.
JEN SEAMAN
Originally from a small military town in the Northwest Seaman brings to the stage imaginative and relatable coming-of-age jokes about her naive upbringing and strong desire to stay a kid at all costs, mixed in with a lineup of past loves which sounds more like a roster at the Special Olympics than a trail of broken hearts. Seaman was recently featured in the commercials for NBC's America's Got Talent and was seen on Comedy Central's Atom TV. She has performed with Louie Anderson, Arj Barker, Kyle Cease, Josh Wolf and many more.
SARAH SKILLING
A Seattle native, Sarah Skilling began her adventure in comedy doing improv and sketch comedy with the Berubian Theater Company in Los Angeles. She moved onto stand-up and hasn't stopped since. She has performed up and down the west coast and likes to focus on absurd human behavior, her family and popular culture.
SHANNON WHALEY
While Shannon's friends were in high school wondering what they were going to be when they grew up, Shannon was in class telling jokes and getting suspended. When a friend was grilling her about what her purpose in life was, she said, "You know, I really think I was put on this Earth to make people laugh." And so began her journey... After being told by friends for years that she should try stand up comedy, she finally made a New Years resolution that she stuck with: Do more of the things she said she had always wanted to do. So in April 2010, she had her first 5 minutes and was hooked. Keep an eye out for her because she's going somewhere fast!!
