Open to all levels, this exciting two part Ukulele workshop will provide you with an in-depth approach to becoming proficient with your right hand fingerstyle technique.
Together we'll explore accompaniment patterns for blues and jug band styles, bossa nova, classical and flamenco techniques. You'll learn a whole slew of genre specific patterns as we play through fun songs and instrumental solo pieces. We'll also go deep into the building blocks of finger coordination, how to create different tones colors, and the all important topic of how to practice for the most results with the least amount of effort.
Stuart has studied classical, flamenco, and gypsy jazz guitar for over 25 years and is looking forward to sharing his experience with you! Ultimately, you'll leave with a rock solid understanding of the nuts and bolts of great fingerstyle playing on the Ukulele.
Stuart, a nationally touring ukulele performer & teaching artist will also perform some of his virtuosic ukulele music for those attending the workshop at Wood Brother's music.
