Will Jimmy de las Rosas turn up the heat on his own mutant abilities to fight them?

Free Street Theatre cordially invites you to the world premiere of "Real Life Adventures of Jimmy de las Rosas," by Free Street Artist-in-Residence Ricardo Gamboa.

In parks around Chicago, a diverse, multi-generational cast will bring to life the story of a boy superhero, an evil supervillain, and mutant chihuahuas using clever special effects, humor, battle scenes and even puppets. "The Real Life Adventures" blends comic books, telenovelas, sci-fi, chisme, and samurai stories to tell a tale of extraordinary things happening just around the corner. It's a show for all ages, with a story anyone can relate to.

And for two performances, Free Street is also offering a special "Real Life Adventure" shuttle to and from the parks. On the ride you'll enjoy a boxed-supper, plus a mini-performance and Q&A with some of Free Street's youth ensemble. All for free!
