Fall Farm Tour, Dinner & Stargazing

Starting at 3:00 pm join owner Harry Carr for a tour of Mint Creek Farm. Meet the variety of animals living on the farm: cows, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep and goats.

After the tour, Mark Hoffman will be extracting honey at Greenhouse Bed and Breakfast just down the road. Here is your chance to taste fresh, raw honey right out of the comb and even take a turn spinning the extractor.

Following honey extraction, enjoy a gourmet dining experience. Chef Guia will prepare a fabulous meal featuring Mint Creek Farm's meats and local produce.

After dinner head back out to the pastures for a campfire on the hill. Nothing but wide open sky above you without all the urban lights.

For those of you coming out from Chicago, we are offering round trip transportation. The mini-bus will leave from the Green City Market site promptly at 1:30pm. When reserving your ticket, be sure to choose the ticket option that includes transportation.
