Seminar: Film Stunts with Lane Leavitt & Carolyn Day
Over the last 25 years, Lane Leavitt has been redefining the stunt industry. His inventive new ways to do stunts has made them look bigger, safer, and more exciting than ever before. As governor for the Academy of Television Arts
and Sciences, Lane has helped bring about an Action Emmy, highlighting the value that quality action brings to a production. His innovative work has come before the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences three times for Academy Award consideration. Lane was formerly a professional competitive motorcycle trials rider for Bultaco motorcycles.

Lane will be discussing his career over the past 25 years as a professional stuntman and President of Leavittation, Inc. His inventive new ways to do stunts has made them look bigger, safer, and more exciting than ever before.

Stunt Doubled in The Agency, Blade 2, Eraser, Desperate Measures, Fast and Furious, Gone in 60 Seconds, Halloween H20, Jeepers Creepers, Matrix Loaded, Mission Impossible 2, True Lies, Beyond Grace, Act of Valor, Alphas, The Good Wife, Gossip Girl, Love Hurts, NCIS, Jag, CSI, Charmed, Babylon 5.

Carolyn "ran away with the circus," touring as a professional Trick Rider/Acrobat in an equestrian production called "Cheval Theatre," the brainchild of Cirque du Soleil's Director of Creation, Gilles Ste-Croix. Becoming a professional stuntwoman was a natural progression for this athlete with a passion for performing. She landed her first stunt jobs in Hawaii, rappelling from sea cliffs, riding horses and jumping out of the way of fast-moving cars! She found her way to Hollywood and was invited to join the United Stuntwomen's Association. She is also a board member of the
Stuntwomen's Foundation and attends film school.

Carolyn will be discussing her career from growing up in Canada as a young gymnast to becoming one of the best Stuntwoman in Hollywood.

Stunt Doubled in Death Race 3000, Stacy's Mom, Unmistaken, Sanctuary, The Fighters, Perfect 10, Lost, North Shore.
