ADAM HOLMES AND THE EMBERS is the new band from 2011 BBC Radio 2 award nominee, Adam Holmes playing his own original contemporary folk songs with a hint of Scotland. At only eighteen Adam was a 2009 Celtic Connections Young Trad finalist and two years later his own brand of contemporary folk songs also brought him a Radio 2 award nomination for Best Folk Newcomer. Preview tracks from the EP have received radio play throughout the UK and are now beginning to get fantastic reviews from writers and bloggers as well as record company attention.

ALAN R DAVISON is a singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland but originally from Belfast, N. Ireland. He has been active in the music scene in Scotland and Ireland for 18 years. Successes with solo releases as well as with Edinburgh-based rock 4-piece, Underbelly and collaborative 5-piece, The Elements, has cemented a continued love of music and presence in the scene, which has ultimately led to the the writing and recording of his debut album The White Eagle Lounge, due for release late in 2011.
