the Erika Chong Shuch Performance Project at Intersection for the Arts
Intersection for the Arts and Resident Dance Company The Erika Chong Shuch Performance Project (ESP Project), present their first collaboration in Intersection's new space in the iconic San Francisco Chronicle building, 5M. Sitting In A Circle is a guided performance event that takes audiences on an interactive journey by way of movement, theater, and installation. The evening introduces an abstract world where a group of strangers are mysteriously summoned to come together and face questions about what "coming together" really means.
Sitting In A Circle, created, choreographed and directed by Erika Chong Shuch, with production design by Allen Willner and cross-disciplinary performances by Rio Anderson, Jennifer Chien, Rebecca Frank, Peter Griggs, Ara Glenn-Johanason, Rowena Richie and Travis Rowland, is a new dance theatre creation an interactive, facilitated, guided performance event.
