The Arizona Republic and The Phoenix Film Society present a screening of the Sea of Dreams

Synopsis:
Across the sea lies a village full of romance, wonder and mystery; a timeless place where man and nature connect in improbable ways. How we live and whom we love, these things are beyond our control. It is a simple truth; one that is difficult to accept. But no matter how hard one denies it, there is no greater mystery than destiny.

SEA OF DREAMS assembles an international cast that includes two important film legendsBrazilian actress Sonia Braga with one Emmy and three Golden Globe nominations; and Mexicos sweetheart, Angelica Maria who makes her return to the big screen after a 20 year absence. Other stars in the film include Johnathon Schaech (That Thing That You Do) Oscar -nominee Seymour Cassel, Nicholas Gonzalez (TVs Law and Order and The O.C.), and Israeli actress Sendi Bar.

The film is directed by Jose Pepe Bojorquez who is being widely acclaimed as the next great director from Mexico. The film has received national acclaim with the Mexican Film and Critics Association awarding the film the Silver Goddess award.
