Symphony of the Redwoods Opus Chamber Music Season Package

The Mendo Lake Wind Trio with Oboist Beth Aiken, bassoonist Eva Kidwell and pianist Elizabeth MacDougall will perform on Sunday September 25, 2011 at 3 pm in Preston Hall, Mendocino. Both Beth Aiken and Eva Kidwell are well known star performers with the Symphony of the Redwoods and Elizabeth MacDougall performs frequently both as soloist and as chamber musician. Their program will include the beautiful and rhythmically delightful trio by Poulenc.

They have been performing together since the second season of the Mendocino Music Festival in 1988. selections from Graun, Joachim, and pieces from Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet. the program ends with the lovely Sonata for Piano and Viola in F-minor, Op.120 #1 by Johannes Brahms. Their program will include the beautiful and rhythmically delightful trio by Poulenc.
