Vickie Schlepped Here
Singing internationally acclaimed songs of Jaques Brel, Kurt Weill and Charles Aznavour, Vickie creates miniature portraits of her own personal travels from Pennsylvania to Transylvania, and to the war ravaged cities of Eastern Europe including Bucharest, Romania, Budapest, Hungary, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Vienna, Austria, and Brussels, Belgium. In every city Vickie visits, she is awakened to the echoes of the Holocaust, still reverberating in the buildings, remaining synagogues, and in the streets of the shtetls where Vickie's soul connects with her Jewish roots. The music of Brel, Weill and Aznavour reveal the strength and spirit of this truthful, one of a kind experience for Vickie, and she not only redefined her destiny, but fulfilled many of her deepest personal dreams. The show features Music Director Michael Rheault and accordionist Carl Reihl. Directed by Bob Ost and Produced by John Lant. Stage Manager Dalton Dale and Associate Producers Jacob Gold and Joshua Strone.
