Rezurex, Hard Fall Hearts, the Altar Relics & DJ Fast Eddy
Clearly Rezurex has risen from the grave and awoken the dead. A refreshing style of musical mayhem that stands alone in the current music scene, Rezurex brings back the roots of early 1950's rock n' roll and combines them with influences of the 1980's that have long since been forgotten by mainstream music. Rezurex hails from Los Angeles, California, and is influenced by numerous bands and artists including the Stray Cats, The Damned, Billy Idol, The Misfits, Elvis Presley, and The Cramps. They have attracted numerous fans with their haunting lyrics and adventurous spirit. Hailing from San Diego County this Punk/Rockabilly outfit is here to stay through the blood, sweat, and tears! HARD FALL HEARTS' sound is both dark and distinct yet reverent to the roots of Rock-n-Roll. Front man Bryan Kelly, formerly of The Handsome Devils writes from the heart while still maintaining a hard edge. His haunting melodies captured the attention of Rocket and Eli Rinek formerly of Johnny and The Blades, Josie Kreuzer and The Del Fi's. With the manic slapping style of Rocket uniquely complimenting the steady, hard driving back beats from Eli, the rhythm section was complete. Playing a show twenty four hours after their first rehearsal in March of 08, these boys knew they were firing on all cylinders. In fact, that in itself motivated the title 'last 24 hours' for their full length debut album released in Oct 08. As always pressing the pedal to the metal these boys have been playing great SoCal and regional venues. Energetic and raw, their live show is guaranteed to make you wanna hang on for the ride. Now,while utilizing their creative momentum, HFH has finished writing and composing songs for the next album. This album has been released on Double Barrel Records 3/26/10 and is chalked full of raw, ass kicking originals. Be sure to catch us at one of our upcoming shows and you just may get a little taste of what's to come. HFH is excited for what the future holds and has added J. Michael Niotta on Bass. This being said, these boys are most definitely a band you'll wanna keep your eye on. Making friends and fans one show at a time, Hard Fall Hearts are sure to turn any dull day into a wild night! the ALTAR RELICS play melodic, dark, obscure, and passionate. A genre - defying blend of surf rock, post punk, and psychobilly music.
