The Festival Consort - Renaissance Glory - Kenwood
The Festival Consort presents its annual Renaissance Christmas concert at St.Patrick's Episcopal Church, Kenwood, on Saturday, December 3rd at 3:00. The ensemble specializes in vocal works sung by Carol Menke, soprano, and Chris Fritzsche, countertenor, with authentic replicas of early instruments, including recorders, crumhorns, shawms, pipe and tabor, sackbut, gittern, schreyerpfeiffen, curtal and doucaine. On the program will be beloved traditional carols and works by important renaissance composers.
