The Festival Consort - Renaissance Glory - Santa Rosa Santa Rosa
The Festival Consort presents its annual Renaissance Christmas concert at the beautiful 136 year old Church of the Incarnation, on Saturday, December 17th at 3:00. The ensemble specializes in vocal works sung by Carol Menke, soprano, and Chris Fritzsche, countertenor, with authentic replicas of early instruments, including recorders, crumhorns, shawms, pipe and tabor, sackbut, gittern, schreyerpfeiffen, curtal and doucaine. On the program will be beloved traditional carols and works by important renaissance composers.
