Workshop Wednesdays in the Front Yard
Oh my god, no way! Oh? Yes way! That's right, you heard it right.
We are doing Workshop Wednesdays every Wednesday at 6pm in the front yard until the rain says to us, "STOP YA CRAZY FOOLS!". And at that point, we'll say, "HEEELLLLLL NO!!!!", and only the most brave and brazen will remain. Will it be you?
We've got live music and DJ's on the porch, beverage, snacks, and a hose for when you need to be hosed down because your too hawt. The cost to attend depends on what we are making, $8 is typically the minimum. When we start getting crazy with leather, archival paper, guest instructors, gold leaf, etc., that low price of $8 might go up, so drop in while it's hot love dove and buy tickets before.
Workshops are only open to fifteen people: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/194475
Our ultimate goal: To create amazing art, which includes, but is not limited to, teddy bear pinatas, moon face masks, troll faces and bodies, giant muppets eating puppets, giant giants, archival books, zombies, paintings, sun prints, armor, sun eating moons, moons eating suns, paper lanterns, leather masks, giant flowers, skeletons that dance with us when we are lonely, and that's not all. Let your imagination soar. It is all possible.
Most of the art we create will be used when we have our November 19th, Dia de Los Muertos, three-floor ticketed fundraiser for In Arts Northwest (we're buying equipment assets with the funds and it is going to blow your hair back when we do, trust me.). For this event, we will be prepared with some of the most eye-popping party props this world has ever seen as a result of Workshop Wednesdays in the Front Yard.
So your cute booty over to Workshop Wednesdays in the front yard of the In Arts Northwest:
