Penelope
Called "rapturous" by The New York Times and "the year's most affecting creation" by Time Out New York, Penelope is a song cycle by composer Sarah Kirkland Snider featuring vocalist Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond and an ensemble comprised of members of the Calder Quartet and friends. Inspired by Homer's epic poem, the Odyssey, Penelope is a meditation on memory, identity, and what it means to come home.
