How to Make Your Bitterness Work for You
Fred Raker's new solo comedy, "How to Make Your Bitterness Work for You," is a play masquerading as a seminar. Or perhaps it's the other way around. In any event, it stars Kent Underwood, a tragically flawed self-help guru with a patent-pending five-step Bitterness to Betterness program.
For the past two years, Kent has been doing his seminar around the country. But since he doesn't have a publisher for his book, "How to Make Your Bitterness Work for You," he's had to fund the seminars himself and he's up to his neck in debt--not to mention bitterness. However, success is not far behind as his agent Mitsy Braverman ("the most tenacious literary agent in the state of New Jersey") is meeting with a publisher who is hot for the book--not to mention Mitsy.
"How to Make Your Bitterness Work for You" is a 75-minute tour de force that will leave you laughing and weeping--not to mention very, very bitter.
