Join us for the final performance in our Orange Coast Concerts 2005-2006 series. If you enjoy eclectic live music in an intimate setting, you will love Orange Coast Concerts.
A taste of New Orleans!
On Saturday, April 8th we will feature Zydeco music and some delicious New Orleans style treats (ever tried a beignet?) with proceeds from food sales benefitting the UUSC Gulf Coast Relief Fund.
From BonneMusiqueZydeco.com: ...a Bonne Musique Zydeco gig bursts with energy as people hang on until the very last drop. "I will tell you this," [founder] B.J. Deculus says firmly, "I have never had to stop playing because no one was there."
Infectious music, rhythms and uninhibited beat is the best way to describe the music that keeps feet and body moving, and heart rate up. Bonne Musique Zydeco specializes in the Creole music of Southwest Louisiana and East Texas, drawing upon the style of traditional Creole and Cajun musicians, and influences of the blues and New Orleans artists of the 1950's, 60's, and 70's to create a blend of music designed for DANCING.
