A Midsummer Night's Dream
The second show in Steps off Broadway's Shakespeare series, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" follows pairs of lovers as they are dragged through a wild roller coaster of love and torment. Controlled by the feuding fairy king and queen Oberon (Jared Wise) and Titania (Maria Norris), and the mischievous Puck (Aubrie Bagdasarian), the two pairs of distraught lovers Helena (Alex Wolf), Demetrius (Ronald Vorce), Hermia (Christine Dickinson), and Lysander (Marc Granato) are led through a wild forest romp. Meanwhile, simple craftsmen led by the outlandish Nick Bottom (Ryan Leverone) attempt to put on a play of love and tragedy on their own.
