FLIGHT OF POETS
Wine and poetry have always made a delicious duet. At this reading, curated by Tess Taylor and Hollie Hardy, internationally renowned sommelier Christopher Sawyer pairs six talented poets with six great wines carefully selected to illuminate their work. Admission includes wine flight of six tastes.


Gabrielle Calvocoressi is author of "The Last Time I Saw Amelia Earhart" and "Apocalyptic Swing." She's a former Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer, and the Poetry Editor for the Los Angeles Review of Books.

Jane Hirshfield is author of seven collections of poetry, most recently "Come, Thief." She's the winner of numerous awards, including the 70th Academy Fellowship for distinguished poetic achievement by The Academy of American Poets.

Robert Polito's most recent books are "Hollywood & God" and "The Complete Film Writings of Manny Farber." His "Savage Art: A Biography of Jim Thompson" received a National Book Critics Circle Award and an Edgar.

Rachel Richardson is author of "Copperhead" (Carnegie Mellon University Press). A California native and former Wallace Stegner Fellow, she's taught in prisons, public schools, and universities, and currently lives in Greensboro, North Carolina.

C. J. Sage is author of "The San Simeon Zebras" (Salmon, 2010) and editor of The National Poetry Review and Press. Her poems appear in Antioch Review, Boston Review, and Ploughshares, among other publications.

Matthew Zapruder is author of three collections of poetry, most recently "Come On All You Ghosts." He's an editor for Wave Books, and teaches at UCR-Palm Desert's Low Residency MFA program in creative writing.
