LITQUAKE PRESENTS KAREN RUSSELL
Karen Russell burst onto the literary landscape at 25 with her debut collection, "St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves," which inspired the Los Angeles Times to call her a "breakneck demon writer." NPR called her follow-up novel "Swamplandia" a "haunting, alluring phantasmagoria," and Russell herself "a rare talent." Litquake presents Russell in an exclusive Bay Area appearance, on stage with San Francisco novelist and story writer Carolyn Cooke, whose own work has been called "wise and exquisite."
