A fantastic new residency kicks off fall at The Lizard Lounge with the co-headlining acts Tim Blane Band and The Patick Thomas Band. Each week the bands will reverse order as well as have occasional friends open the show. Who are these guys? Tim Blane has played his catchy, acoustic-pop music throughout the US, sharing the stage with acts like the Goo Goo Dolls, Cake, KT Tunstall, and Fabolous. He's garnered accolades like a Boston Music Award nomination and two finals appearances in the Starbucks Songwriting Competition. Additionally, CAA's 2009 "Cassandra Report" named him an artist to watch, and he was a 2011 finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Patrick Thomas has joined the likes of The Black Crowes, Lifehouse, Citizen Cope and Better Than Ezra on stage for showcases and with his own sound likened to Paul Simon, Ryan Adams and Tom Waits, Patrick has recently founded the critically acclaimed band Hotels & Highways. Whether solo or surrounded by friends, The Patrick Thomas BAnd and the Tim Blane BAnd throw relentless energy behind well-crafted and memorable songs.
