Local Habit: Brewer Dinner Featuring Iron Fist Brewing
Join us for this unique food and beer experience as Local Habit Chef Nick Brune and Iron Fist Head Brewer Brandon Sieminski collaborate to bring you five delicious courses of farm fresh food paired with five craft beers from this up and coming San Diego brewer.

1st Course: Beets with Shaved Goat Cheddar, Marjoram and Balsamic paired with Hired Hand Saison

2nd Course: Duck Breast Confit with Root Vegetable Slaw paired with Spice of Life Belgian Style Spiced Ale

3rd Course: Smoked Paprika Pork Belly with Dubbel Fisted Caramel and Bleu Cheese Sauce paired with "Dubbel Fisted" Abbey Style Dubbel

4th Course: IPA Braised Short Rib with Pearl Onions and Tomato paired with "The Gauntlet" Imperial IPA on cask

5th Course: Classic Cheesecake with Glazed Carrot, Raisin Rum, and Ancho Chocolate paired with "Velvet Glove" Stout with Vanilla Bean, Allspice and Nutmeg on cask

About Local Habit

Local Habit, which opened in July 2011 is committed to using locally-sourced ingredients and supporting California-based purveyors with sustainable agriculture practices. Located in Hillcrest, the restaurant features organic foods made from scratch using seasonally available, local produce, house cured meats and homemade breads. The menu focuses on Nepolitana-style pizzas and gourmet sandwiches and features a variety of items for people with dietary restrictions.
