What better way to spend a late summer's day than on a beautifully appointed cruise ship with friends and kindred spirits while dining on a sumptuous four course meal with a stunning view of the city and supporting a program which helps students and teachers become global citizens?
The World Affairs Council Board of Trustees invites you to join us for a day of fun on Holland America Line's ms Amsterdam. The third ship to bear the name of the Dutch capital, the ms Amsterdam has numerous artistic jewels present on its four stories of massive beauty. The Planeto Astrolabium, a commissioned work of art which tracks heavenly bodies, world time and ship time, is located mid-ship. Art Deco pieces that originally resided on the Nieuw Amsterdam of 1938 are featured on the ship. Plus, works of revered maritime artist Stephen Card are located throughout main areas. Amidst the beauty of this truly international ship we invite you to come and be a part of the World Affairs Council's efforts to raise funds for the Global Classroom program.
Suggested tax deductible $200 donation requested.
