Neil Simon's The Good Doctor

M & M Productions, winner of the New Hampshire Theatre Awards' Best Drama for 2009, and the winner of the 2010 New Hampshire Community Theatre Association award for best production in New Hampshire and runner up of the New England Theatre Conference Regional competition presents Neil Simon's "The Good Doctor" this fall.

"The Good Doctor," is one of Neil Simon's many successful comedies. Broadway's master of comedy, Neil Simon, expertly weaves a variety of Anton Chekhov short stories into a laugh-out-loud evening that is heart warming, hilarious, and just what the doctor ordered.

Neil Simon is a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner. He is also a recipient of the Mark Twain Prize, a Golden Globe Award, and is a Kennedy Center Honoree, just to name a few. Simon is a prolific writer with a long list of plays and screen plays and is best known for his comedies. You may recognize the titles of a few of his works: The Odd Couple, The Goodbye Girl, and Brighton Beach Memoirs.

The cast of characters includes a writer, a blustering general, a lady of the night, a wild woman with a nervous disorder, a man who earns money by "drowning", a novice dentist, an overeager actress and many others, all brought to life by Len Deming, Eric Skoglund, Neal Blaiklock, Melissa Groff and Mari Keegan. The show is directed by Kevin Riley, stage managed by Andrea Hojnacki and produced by Mark Ferman.

The "DOCTOR IS IN" on September 23, 24, 25 and 30 at 8PM as well as October 1 and 2 at 2PM at the AMATO Center, 56 Mont Vernon Road, Milford, NH.
