Saturday Family Concerts: DJ Baba James
Equally adept at creating beats with his laptop and his voice, pan-cultural raconteur James Whetzel (DJ Baba James) brings an interactive set to our Family Concerts that will have your children spontaneously creating new styles of clever syncopated sounds. A classically trained sarod and tabla player, his styles range from work with legendary West African palm-wine guitarist Koo Nimo and to remixes of everything from Yann Tiersen and Bob Dylan to the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Presented by Town Hall.
