Fur Out 3
Fur Out 3 will happen through out the month of August on Friday August 5th, Saturday August 6th, and Saturday August 20th. The performance is directed by bay area Butoh legend, Hiroko Tamano. Dancers include Ronnie Baker, Mando Davila, Luku and others. Live music by Gypsy Punk Opera.

Koichi and Hiroko Tamano/Harupin-ha Butoh Dance Company
Local treasures and internationally touring artists, Harupin-Ha creators, Koichi & Hiroko Tamano have been performing and teaching Butoh for over 30 years and are noted for first bringing the dance form to the west. The influence of Butoh originator Tatsumi Hijikata, who performed with and shaped the two artists, has left its imprint on them, although the Tamanos have since veered into their own trajectory. Koichi Tamano, who was the principal dancer of Hijikata's company, was named by him "the bow-legged Nijinsky".
