In picturesque Montmartre, three children wearing yellow stars play in the streets, oblivious to the darkness spreading over Nazi-occupied France. Their parents do not seem too concerned either, putting their trust in the Vichy government. But soon, one of the darkest moments in modern French history descends. The Roundup is a wrenching, dramatic re-creation of the Vichy regime's imprisonment of 13,000 Parisian Jews in 1942. The film has garnered Audience Choice Awards at Jewish Film Festivals nationwide.
