The Dark Side of Chocolate
Join Green America at Sustainable NYC for a screening of the cocoa-supply-chain documentary "The Dark Side of Chocolate." Travel with filmmaker U. Roberto Romero onto the cocoa farms of the Cote d'Ivoire, and see for yourself the child labor and unfair working conditions that Fair Trade chocolate companies are working so hard to eliminate.
Elizabeth O'Connell will share with you her passion as it relates to the issue of Fair Trade from the perspective of the film The Dark Side of Chocolate, and the larger organization. Our executive director Alisa Gravitz, and other staff, will also be on hand to provide information. This event is being offered as an opportunity to learn about all of the programs Green America offers to the community. You won't be asked to make any financial contribution, but we welcome your advice and feedback.
