Where Does Water Come From?
Kick off our 2011 City Works tours with a day-long bus trip examining the source of the city's water supply. Board the bus as we visit with representatives from the Portland Water Bureau, who will guide us through the Bull Run watershed, which provides drinking water to more than 840,000 people in the Portland metropolitan area. We'll then visit the Bull Run Distillery to tour of their 7,000 sq ft processing facility, talk about the process of creating their small-batch vodka and spirits made from Bull Run water, and provide samples for all (must be 21+).
