Event
Flux Short Films (8-16)
Flux Magazine is hosting a night of short films. The films will mostly focus around modern identity and communication and their ever-changing definitions and transitions alongside time. Flux Magazine strives to be more than just a fashion and art magazine, as they also host events to provide representational platforms and space for experimentation. They are striving to question the manipulation of our identities in a digitally progressing age through the short films.
Flux Magazine is trying something new for August 16. Instead of completely choosing and reaching out to artists for specific short films, they are taking submissions until August 9 via their email (fluxmagazinecontact@gmail.com). They will be choosing which films to feature the week before the event so it will be a surprise to all the guests. A program will be available at the event with information on the artists featured and their corresponding artist statements.
