The Mad Violinist & The Symphony Crack Orchestra SARASOTA
The Mad Violinist & The Symphony Crack Orchestra SARASOTA. Opening Act: Jah Movement Guest Vocalisit: Alli Raina Doors 8pm/Show 9pm
Symphony Crack Orchestra is a product of the collective roots of each member's upbringing, blending Nashville's traditional country, Georgia's southern soul, Oregon's alternative rock, and some distant planet's Jazz/ Funk. Each song is a raw release of emotion so palpable one doesn't need words to feel it; music with a unique ability to transcend time. Each energetic live performance draws a broad audience that cannot be defined by age, race, or gender, but is brought together by the universal love for music, the most beautiful human obsession. The ensemble regales the audience with infectious progressions and impressive displays of talent, each wielding more instruments than any one person should be able to master. This mind-blowing display is often simply described as "different". It is an experience that will stay with you for years to come.
Each member of SCO has firmly established themselves independently as sought after studio musicians and producers, writers, and performers. They are credited with 8 Grammy nominations along the way. SCO is known for launching the career of hip-hop artist, Yelawolf.
24 hours after releasing their second album "Fiend", it climbed from Top 200 to Top 10 on iTunes. The band's third release scheduled for winter 2014, "The Most Beautiful Human Obsession", is an ambitious double album that represents the duality of The Symphony Crack Orchestra's musical journey thus far. It's an instrumental medley highlighting the evolution of music with influences from the past and destinations of the future.
