LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
(1) Participants will learn the differences in the various types of glass currently available (plate, ptempered, annealed, heat strengthened, impact resistant, etc.
(2) Participants will be able to define the selection/limitations for the different coatings available on the various types of glass.
(3) Participants will understand the process of manufacturing impact resistant glazing as well as its limitations/uses.
(4) Participants will learn about decorative finishes for glass, their limitations and relative costs (acid etched,sand blasted,screenprint,ceramic frit,decorative interlays, etc).
