4:30pm Alethea Austin's Signature Floor - Work
Alethea Austin, USPDF Champion 2010 and USPDF Miss Sexy 2009, is known as much for her floor-work as her skills on the pole. This 90 minute workshop aims to make students of all levels comfortable with their floor-work. Basic and advanced options are given to ensure that every student feels challenged. The class covers everything from flare leg moves, crawls, slinks, slides, and body rolls to more acrobatic floor-work such as shoulder-rolls, candlesticks and planks. In the last part of class, Alethea shows you how to incorporate all of the elements that you have learned into a fluid and sexy, musically attuned free floor dance.
Skill level: All levels - Yoga pants; thigh highs, or kneepads should be worn for the floor-work to protect the knees.
