Second Annual MBLA Clambake
Come join us on Aug. 20th at Waban Park, Oak Bluffs for a Heritage Tour and Clambake!
Heritage Tour:
Come and enjoy a personalized tour of the Vineyard, with an emphasis on African American culture and historical landmarks.
Clambake:
You will enjoy your dinner with a backdrop of a beautiful sunset as it shines over one of the most spectacular views on Oak Bluffs. To complete the experience, take a walk on the local beach and/or participate in complimentary games with other MBLA members and their families.
The Clambake Dinner will include clam chowder, lobster, mussels, steamers, italian sausage, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, red potatoes, pearl onions, barbeque chicken, and dessert.
We also have a special children's menu available for $35, which includes the following: clam chowder, hot dogs, hamburgers and cheeseburgers, corn on the cob, chips, and dessert.
Schedule of Events:
10:00-11:30 - Check in at Waban Park, Oak Bluffs
10:00-12:00 - Free Time
12:00-2:00 - Heritage Tour ($35 per person)
2:00-5:00 - Free Time
5:00-5:45 - Registration and Clambake Reception
5:45-9:00 - Clambake Dinner ($75 for members) ($95 non-members) ($35 children under 12 for children's menu only)
*Transportation to and from Oak Bluffs is not included in ticket price.
*Event will take place rain or shine.
*Tickets are non-refundable.
