Jen Kober Comedy Show @ Dagostino's in Lake Charles, LA
Comedian Jen Kober is one of the hot new faces of stand-up comedy. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kober has recently relocated to San Francisco where she has quickly become a nationally recognized headliner - playing colleges, casinos and comedy clubs all over the country and bringing crowds to their feet with her original blend of stand-up, story telling, and improvised rock-n-roll comedy.
Kober performs alongside guitar player Justin Hill, as they weave together a Southern-Style musical tale of love lost at the buffet, road trip adventures at The Waffle House and midnight mishaps at Wal Mart.
In November 2004, Kober was the Runner-Up in The Seattle International Comedy Competition. Kober's quick wit and machine-gun talking Southern drawl made her the first woman since Aisha Tyler to make the finals. Proving once again that FAT KIDS RULE! Kober opens on the road this year for Kevin Pollak, Damon Wayans and Sinbad.
