Question: My email seems to be actng up...I need 12 tickets for December 21 Wdnesday and am hoping that there might be a group rate.....thanks, Alyce
Answer: Currently IBT is offering Group Pricing for the first weekend of performances; Dec 9 - 7:30p, Dec 10 - 2:00p & 7:30p and Dec 11 - 2:00p. Go to event #191488 for all the details.

Question: is row 2 too close to the stage, will we be straining our necks constantly looking up at the stage; what row s are recommeneded for best viewing??
Answer: Not sure how to answer this one. Everyone has a personal preference. Personally I like my seat to be in the center of the theater. In the first couple of rows you couls still see dancer's feet without straining.

Question: is row #2 too close to the stage, will we be constantly straining our necks looking up at the stage? which are the best rows for viewing??
Answer: Meydenbauer Theater is wonderfully intimate and all seats are great! Most performances on a stage are choreographed to the center of the room. Distance adds perspective by allowing you see all of the details taking place on the stage at the same time. Hope that helps.

Question: I've never seen the Nutcracker at this venue. Which version is performed? Is there a sugar plum fairy and cavelier? Does Mother Gigogne make an appearance with her large hoop skirt?
Answer: Performance opens with guest gathering for a Christmas Eve party at the Stahlbaum's home (lots of period costumes). Clara and Fritz's Uncle Drosselmeyer (the toymaker) initiate the Nutcracker story with his gifts to the children. Sugar Plum Fairy, Mouse King and battle scene with the Calvary are all included in this production. There are more than 80 members in the cast. It is a beautiful production performed in an intimate theater setting where every seat in the house is a good seat. Russian Ballet Master Vera Altunina has choreographed a beautiful rendition of the original Nutcracker ballet, Audiences are raving about this production. Click on the video clip for a sampling of the performance.

Question: Are there "rush" tickets - cheaper tickets right before the show?
Answer: IBT has a program called "TEEN RUSH", tickets are only available for Jr. High, High School and College aged students (ages 13 and up) with current Student ID. Offer is only valid for FRIDAY 7:30 pm performances. Restrictions Apply, complete details can be found at the tickets link at ibtBellevue.org
