EcoBuilding 2011
Building Toward the Future: Creating resiliency in our homes and communities. Our 14th Annual Member Retreat, October 21-23, 2011. Fill the halls at Pilgrim Firs!
EcoBuilding 2011 kicks off with a keynote address by Alex Wilson, founder of BuildingGreen, Inc., and executive editor of Environmental Building News and the GreenSpec Product Directory.
Alex will be focusing on resilient design, which is a perfect base for our weekend sessions and events. Building on his work with "passive survivability" over the past six years, this shift to "resilience" aims to expand the dialog among all sectors of society, including the design and construction community, policy makers, insurance companies, and other businesses.
Visit EcoBuilding 2011 for more information, including speaker bios and session overviews.
EcoBuilding 2011 is open to EVERYONE. Northwest EcoBuilding Guild members receive a $50 discount on entire weekend, and $25 discount on one day attendance.
