QPOCalypse Workshop Round two- Wild Plants for Medicine, Food and Survival
Back by popular demand! This class is for those who wanted to be part of the last workshop, which filled up really fast. Sign up soon to be in this round! I'm offering this as part of a series of apocalypse readiness skillshares for queer people of color, offered by different folks. This particular workshop is focused native plant identification for medicine, food and survival. We will go into the woods of the East Bay hills and look at plants that can help treat illnesses and first aid situations that we might encounter in the apocalypse. Inspired by the Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler, this workshop will go over possible survival scenarios and how we can work with plants to keep our communities healthy. As a little bonus we'll go over the must haves for your apocalypse readiness kits, to increase your chances of thriving in the wilderness. Limited to 12 people, this class is offered by donation, please RSVP here to hold your spot! Once you RSVP you will get the location of where to meet. YOU MUST BE ON TIME! We will be off in the woods :)
