Hometown Hootenanny: Singers Showdown
Amateur vocalists and songwriters get their chance to shine and compete for prizes at the first annual Hometown Hootenanny Singers Showdown, set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, at the Historic Everett Theatre.
Contestants will compete in three categories: Adult Vocalist, 16 and Under Vocalist, and Songwriter for cash awards and prizes.
The contest is co-sponsored by KMPS 94.1. Judges include Jeremy Randall and Mark Hibbert, both members of the Hometown Hootenanny's Hometown Band. The audience will also get to vote for their favorites in each of the three categories.
The Hometown Hootenanny is a family-friendly event, presenting live music and a variety of entertainers in a classic venue in downtown Everett.
