Bard & Bourbon presents Much Ado About Nothing-drunk!

In Messina, Italy, Don Pedro and his officers return victorious from the battlefield and are welcomed into the home of Leonato to celebrate. Soon a young officer, Claudio, is engaged to Leonato's only daughter, Hero. To pass the time until the wedding, the group of friends devise a plan to make Hero's witty cousin Beatrice and her verbal sparring partner Benedick fall in love. Meanwhile Don Pedro's resentful brother Don John conspires with his henchmen to destroy as much of the revelers' happiness as he can. Only the well meaning but witless Dogberry and the faithful men of his Watch can stop him.

Friends become enemies, enemies become lovers, and the hero dies but in the end it's all Much Ado About Nothing.

Bard & Bourbon features fully rehearsed and memorized shows with the added challenge of one brave actor taking several shots of whiskey in front of the audience at the top of the show. What happens next is anyone's guess.

Patrons are encouraged to drink across the hall at the Brenner Brewing Company before the show and at intermission, though drinks cannot be brought into the theatre. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY AND ALWAYS HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER.
