Tour soil and water conservation projects funded by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) at Foxwhelp Farm in Healdsburg, and talk with project designers:

Recently completed projects at Foxwhelp Farm include:
- Water conservation measures utilizing cover crops and water meters - Grassy water-way ground water infiltration techniques - Four creek bank restoration projects - Native plant hedgerows
ABOUT THE FARM: Foxwhelp Farm has had diversified production since the 1970's including wine grapes, fruit tree nursery and fruit crops, vegetables, flower seeds, wheat, and heirloom tomatoes. Currently heirloom tomatoes and tree fruit are grown on the farm.
ABOUT NRCS: NRCS is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and works with private landowners to help them conserve, maintain and improve their natural resources.
