Through the eyes of two adoring fans, Charlie, a shy archivist and temp/actress Jo, this bio-comedy with music chronicles the early vaudeville to late movie career of the woman Dick Cavette called, "The Eighth Wonder of the World". Witness the daring diva as seductress, singer, playwright, producer and star as she wriggles and sashays her way through the 1920s to 70s--in the heavily male-dominated entertainment industry--to become one of the most imitated and beloved characters of all time.
