Buffet Flats
A traveling home-grown dinner-salon.
Buffet Flats are a traveling series of home theater salons aimed at nourishing the mind, spirit and belly. At the Buffet Flats we invite guests to gather at homey local spots, to share knowledge, good company, delicious food and homespun performance and art. On a tour of different homes and gardens of the Bay Area we cross-pollinate Queer culture with the slow-food and urban-farming movements.
Gathering food from community gardens and local farms, guest cooks prepare and serve sumptuous mini meals. Experts in various fields present stimulating ideas for debate and conversation. In between courses guests enjoy a themed evening of performances and art.
This event's theme is Queering slow-food on the buck moon.
