SOLD OUT Politics & Prose and Sixth & I Present Ta-Nehisi Coates
Ta-Nehisi Coate, a senior editor at The Atlantic where his work has won accolades including the George Polk Award for his cover story, "The Case for Reparations," offers a powerful new framework for understanding our nation's history and current crisis. Coates grew up in West Baltimore and chronicled his coming-of-age in The Beautiful Struggle. His new book, BETWEEN THE WORLD AND ME, which takes its title from a Richard Wright poem, is a bold, personal exploration of America's racial history that pivots from the scope of US history and ideals to the most intimate concerns of a father for his son.
Please note, if you purchase a ticket with book your copy of BETWEEN THE WORLD AND ME will be available for pick up at Politics & Prose the day after your purchase. Please present your confirmation email at the register to get your book. Alternatively, you will be able to pick up the book with your ticket the night of the event, if you prefer.
